OUR STORY A UNIQUE AND ESTABLISHED COMPANY
QJS began its journey way back in the late 70’s, a small family business specialising in the sale and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment. Back then the name was Quick Jet Services, and this remained until the early 90’s when the name was shortened to QJS. In the late 90’s the specialist food process hygiene range was developed by the owners in response to demand from the ever-growing food industry around Lincolnshire. Rapid growth in this area led to a total rationalisation of the business with non-food related ranges being sold off and a complete lazer focus on the products and services that now make QJS such a unique and well-known company.
Our move in to France in 2015 has been a great success with sales in that market making up nearly 20% of our business, not to mention the fact that our products have also sold in New Zealand, South Africa and even Reunion, a tiny island 500km off the east coast of Madagascar!
HOW WE BECAME MARKET LEADERS
QJS became market leaders because of a simple inner belief in our value proposition. Based on an intimate knowledge of the customers’ specific needs and challenges, bespoke equipment is designed and manufactured to order for rapid delivery to the point of use. This has resulted in over 750 factories in the UK, Ireland and France depending on QJS as their provider of food process hygiene systems and equipment.
WHERE FROM HERE? CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Our insatiable appetite to continuously improve both in the service we provide and the products we develop has opened doors to many exciting developments on the horizon, in particular our French business where we are in the process of launching a stand-alone French entity based in France in order to service our French customers better.
Furthermore, our extremely successful Technifoamer range has been completely redeveloped and is shortly to be launched to the market, boasting many new user-friendly features.
These developments all help us strive towards our ultimate goal of being a truly global supplier of food process hygiene systems and equipment.
